This week, the lithium hydroxide market maintained a slight upward trend. Supply side, lithium chemical plants generally maintained low inventory levels, with limited spot orders of lithium chemicals available for circulation. Suppliers continued to hold back sales, and quotations were adjusted upward driven by the strengthening lithium carbonate prices and rising lithium ore costs. Demand side, downstream ternary cathode material plants generally purchased as needed, with weak willingness to accept spot orders. Market transactions were primarily driven by rigid demand. Overall, the current market, supported by tight spot circulation and the strong upward pull from lithium ore and lithium carbonate prices, exhibited a pattern of gradual price increases.
